Australia revealed schedule for India tour of australia 2020 on Thursday as the highlight of a busy home season, but admitted arrangements were in flux due to CoronaVirus.
Kevin Roberts, Cricket Australia CEO, said the picture was “evolving every day” as he announced men’s fixtures against Zimbabwe, the West Indies and Afghanistan, and India.
Australia is also set to host the October and November men’s Twenty20 World Cup.
Roberts said in a statement. we know circumstances are out of control mean that the final schedule may look different from the one released today. He said we”ll be doing everything to get some international cricket this summer.
The first Test against India is scheduled to start in Brisbane on December 3, second Test in Adelaide from December 11, the third Test in Melbourne from December 26 and final Test to be played in Sydney from January 3.
Cricket Australia can generate good revenue from the series because they are already struggling during the CoronaVirus shutdown. India have said that they are prepared to undergo quarantine to make the series possible.
We are having discussion with Federel and State Governments for the arrangements of the tour including Venues and Hotels. Final details of the one-day international three match series with Zimbabwe, scheduled to begin on August 9, will be reported at a later date.
